How do I register my nick on IRC?
In the status window of your irc client type /msg nickserv identify (password) (email address) *remove the brackets*. You must supply a valid email address as you will have to respond to services with an authorization number send to that email account. To identify to your registered nick when you connect to irc type /msg nickserv identify (password) *minus the brackets* in the status window, OR... you can put that command into the perform list in mIRC so it'll do it automatically when you join.
view\options\connect\options\perform
and add it to the list.
